Search Engine Friendly URL's at My Web Site Promotion |
August 15th, 2006 - Every professional webmaster and site owner needs to maximize traffic to their web site. Affiliate programs, link exchanges, search submission programs, and pay-per-click services offer many ways to promote yourself, but webmasters around the world still pour countless hours into Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Google is the biggest target and it is no surprise, with over 55 billion searches made on their site in 2003.
When search engine placement comes up, we hear a lot about keywords. Every web site has a specific list of keywords which the webmaster can configure, and those keywords are included "behind the scenes" with every visitor your site receives. These keywords are specifically stored in "META" tags contained within the web site''s code. Search engines can pick up on these keywords and use them to categorize and rank your site, giving you better or worse ratings. Or so we read anyway, as the reality of SEO is a little different.

OCZ PC-8 Titanium Alpha VX xGB Review |
|
August 12th, 2006 - Overall, OCZ redefines DDR2 overclocking with the return of = Voltage eXtreme series. Being the first DDR2 to bear the VX2 tag, the = PC2-8000 Titanium Alpha kit is designed for overclockers. Physically, = the PC2-8000 VX2 looked like it came from out of space and you will = definitely love if you like to pimp your rig. Based on the infamous = Micron D9GMH memory ICs, these modules is rated at 500MHz CL4-4-4-15 It = works as advertised and our benchmark results prove that DDR1000 does = bring a slight improvement over DDR800. Although we did not hit the = magic 600MHz mark, we did manage clock it up to 562MHz at CL5 but it was = not Prime stable. For 24/7 operation, we found 550MHz at CL5 to be the = maximum overclock as the modules showed excellent stability during our = 11 hours stress test on our setup. Priced at about $489 / RM1800, the = PC2-8000 VX2 kit is quite pricey but you will be covered up to 2.52V = though. If you are looking at getting a new 2GB DDR2 kit for your = high-end AM2 or Conroe setup with plans of overclocking and overvolting, = the OCZ PC2-8000 Titanium Alpha VX2 2GB kit is worth checking out, = provided if you have a 490 bucks budget just for the RAM. However when = you crank it up to 2.5V, you can be rest assured that OCZ will cover you = down the road!

Revoltec Lightboard Advanced Keyboard |
|
August 10th, 2006 - Today I''ve got the fourth and final review in my series of Revoltec product reviews, and I''ve saved the best for last! If you don''t recall, I did tell you that Bluegears is now the official US distributor for Revoltec products and they sent me some to check out and give them my opinion on. So today I have to say, I''ve got myself a new keyboard, a damn cool keyboard actually. I''m retiring my Logitech in favor of the Revoltec Lightboard Advanced. This is one excellent keyboard, it has all the features like multimedia and shortcut keys, but it is much smaller than the standard keyboard. If you ever used a laptop most have the X-structured suspension and they are very comfortable to type on, well Revoltec has brought that comfort to the home, and they included cool blue EL backlighting as well.

DFI Infinity NF UltraII-M Review |
|
August 9th, 2006 - The DFI Infinity NF UltraII-M2 motherboard is a really = powerful motherboard. By reviewing this motherboard, we are starting to = think that this is the most impressive socket AM2 motherboard we have = tested and it was the easiest to work with. The motherboard layout was = exceptional and the overclocked DDR2 modules benefited from the = vertical-left DIMM slot position. In our overclocking book, the Infinity = UltraII-M2 managed to hit an impressive 440HTT via BIOS and this was the = highest HTT overclock we have seen on any AMD motherboard. For memory = overclocking, this board easily boots in at DDR1000 and we were able to = run our system stable up to DDR1110. With faster DDR2 modules surfacing = soon, we believe this motherboard will easily do beyond DDR1200.=20

Enermax Chakra Case |
|
August 9th, 2006 - We have not seen that many new products from Enermax this year. Today we will be looking at one of their newest offerings the Chakra. The Chakra is a mid-tower case that has one of the biggest fans I have ever seen on a PC case. It also features an eSATA port, which we have been seeing a lot of lately. Although the case has an extremely large fan and its design seems basic it really impressed me and is very quiet.

After talking with them they sent us over the 2U26ATX400XR-2 rackmount case. This is my first time working with a rackmount case so I will see if the 2U26ATX400XR-2 shows us the same quality and excellence Antec is known for.

Old Skool Micron Fatbody D9 Reunion |
|
August 5th, 2006 - At the end of the day, the winner was clearly the Mushkin = PC2-4200 pair which overclocked to 500MHz (DDR1000) at CL4. That''s 90% = overclocking right there! On the other hand, the Centon Advanced Gemini = PC2-4200LL kit was also not bad with 76% memory overclocking. = Considering that both of these kits were originally designed to run at = just 263MHz, it''s pretty amazing to see them clock over 400MHz with a = little tweaking.
