Mushkin 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2 Review

Posted by Tekime on 2004-12-13 09:23:55

Overall, the Mushkin PC2-4200 1GB DDR2 memory kits were very good. It easily overclocked to DDR666 while maintaining 4-4-4-12 timings. While gaming benchmarks were a little short of my expectations, I found no problem at all with these Mushkin DDR533 modules and it worked flawlessly with everything I threw at it. If our test motherboard did not max out at 250FSB, we might have seen it running at DDR700 and beyond. If you’re looking for high performance, reasonably priced DDR2 memory kits, the Mushkin 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2 should definitely be on your list. Backed with Mushkin's after sales support, you can't go wrong with this one!
