Thermalright HR-5 Chipset Heatsink Review

Posted by Tekime on 2006-06-27 18:00:01

Overall, the Thermalright HR-05 is an impressive chipset = heatsink. Thermalright did the right choice by following the foot steps = of the High-Riser series and the result speaks for itself. Although the = size of the heatsink is massive, we couldn't believe how easy it was to = install. Furthermore, it was designed to work passively but it is also = possible to install a 70mm or even an 80mm fan on it. When tested = passively, the HR-05 was way better than the stock cooler and it was = still a solid 11=BAC cooler when overclocked.
