Customizing Fury-Tech Newsfeed Appearance

Our newsfeed embeds CSS classes into our newsfeed so you can customize the appearance easily!

Simply set the styles for the following classes in your CSS definitions file.

ftnf-cl-outline
The DIV element class surrounding the newsfeed HTML.

ftnf-cl-title
The title link class for each news item.

ftnf-cl-desc
The SPAN element class for the description text of each item.

ftnf-cl-subline
The DIV element class for the newsfeed 'footer'.

ftnf-cl-sublink
The link class for the newsfeed 'footer'.

Customizing Fury-Tech Newsfeed Results

By passing a few extra options to our newsfeed script, you can customize your newsfeed even further. These options are embedded in the URL used in the code found above.

Description Length - `d`
Specifies the length of the description in the newsfeed.

Item Limit - `l`
Specifies the number of items to return. Must be an integer between 1 and 255.

New Window - `n`
By default, links open in the same window. Change this value to `1` to have them display in a new window.

For example, the following code would display 10 news items, with 100 characters max in the description, and links that open in a new window:
